How MyPeach unlocked the power of data with Datawisp
MyPeach.ai lets users create and interact with personalized AI companions through their website and mobile app. These companions engage users in real-time, sharing messages and media.
Earlier this year, MyPeach approached Datawisp to help solve three key problems:
Inefficiency in analytics: generating metrics for dashboards either required a non-technical PM to invest hours of their time into figuring things out or an engineer to stop working on the platform and do it themselves - both bad for the business.
Lack of understanding around client behavior: MyPeach had a very limited ability to differentiate between paying and non-paying users to understand engagement patterns and identify potential future subscribers
AI-driven content analysis: analyzing and categorizing conversation topics with AI was a daunting task, previously thought to be beyond the capabilities of non-technical staff.
Working with Datawisp
Inefficiency in analytics
After a short onboarding call, MyPeach was able to connect their GCP Postgres database to the Datawisp platform. Previously, answering data-related questions involved lengthy email exchanges and manual processes - with data exported as CSV and analyzed in Excel or by someone with only minimal knowledge of SQL. With Datawisp, anyone on the MyPeach team could ask data questions directly in plain English and get answers immediately from Wispy, an AI agent. Charts and tables created by Wispy could be easily shared with other stakeholders or added to dashboards for future reference. This streamlined process not only sped up responses, but also allowed engineers to concentrate on improving the platform and led to faster iteration cycles.
User segmentation and behavior tracking
With Datawisp connected and Wispy answering questions, MyPeach could start generating insights such as:
Message volume by user type (paying vs. non-paying)
Daily message counts
Average logins per user type
Daily revenue trends
These metrics were available in real-time, empowering the executive team to monitor key performance indicators without relying on technical expertise.
AI-Driven Content Analysis
Although Datawisp is primarily designed to work with structured data, the MyPeach team was able to find an unexpected new use case for Wispy - analyzing themes in user conversations. Non-technical team members could now:
Categorize and count the topics of each message
Analyze conversation themes using keywords related to relationship building and emotional support
Track changes in topic discussions over time
This allowed MyPeach to learn a lot about how users were interacting with their companions and, in particular, to see trends in conversation topics over time.
Results
Based on insights from Datawisp, MyPeach discovered that messaging, the most commonly used feature, could be used as a gateway to getting users to pay for more expensive, premium features. They introduced a credit-based messaging system in which users could start with a limited number of credits for a small price and add more as they spent more time with their companion. This successfully lowered the barrier to entry for some users and increased willingness to purchase more premium features once users had connected their payment method.
Next Steps
Building on these advancements, MyPeach will continue to look for patterns in the data it can use to improve its platform. As new features are introduced, PMs will have all the data they need right at their fingertips to make sure that users have the best possible experience, and MyPeach’s management team will be armed with insights to grow their business.
Through Datawisp, MyPeach has transformed how they leverage analytics, making sophisticated data tasks accessible to everyone on their team.
